From March 4 – 8, 2026, the Durango Independent Film Festival (DIFF) returns for its 21st year, bringing five days of inspiring storytelling, thought-provoking cinema, family-friendly programming, and community engagement to Southwest Colorado. One of the festival’s standout offerings year after year is its REEL Learning School Program — age-appropriate films curated for kids and teens that spark curiosity and conversation. These films are not only screened during festival week but also made available to local classrooms to support media literacy. Ticketing & Passes: What You Need to Know

There’s more than one way to experience DIFF:

• Individual Tickets: Available for specific film screenings; sold at the theaters approximately 15 minutes before showtime, based on available seating. Adults $20; children, students, and senior citizens $15.  
• Multi-Pack Tickets: Six-packs and ten-packs let you choose a bundle of screenings. This is a shareable pass.
• All-Film Passes: The best choice if you want to see lots of films — giving you priority access to most screenings. This pass includes any film at any time and includes 1st-tier seating. This pass is not shareable.
• All-Fest Passes: This top tier gets you into the most films and official parties/events — plus the ability to have a guaranteed seat up to 20 minutes before showtime at participating venues. This pass includes any film, any time, guaranteed seat*, all VIP Parties and events (including Awards Gala, Opening Night, Meet the Filmmakers).) This is a non-sharable pass.
